The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, Nation Towers has a high reputation to live up to when it comes to delivering excellent standards of service and splendour. Assisting the property deliver just that within the 283 rooms and the amazing Abu Dhabi Skybridge suite are our lighting control and dimming systems.

St. Regis as a chain has strict specifications for their interiors. Neolight Designs a global award-winning international lighting design consultancy were awarded the contract to create the ambience befitting the St. Regis profile of luxury.

In order to execute the brief, the designers used almost every type of dimming protocol ranging from Phase dimming (leading as well as trailing) to 1-10Vdc to DALI to DMX to match their pace of dynamic design. And we were retained to meet their exacting specifications.

The top of the range Evolution and eDIN series from Mode Lighting were employed to deliver the desired effects. Although it took two years to complete the project, the quality and performance of the products and solutions used are testimony of our commitment to excellence.

  • Evolution Control Plate EVO-SGP

    The 10 Button Control Plate provides eight configurable buttons allowing scene recall, impulse and toggle and two multifunction buttons providing On & Raise and Off & Lower with integral IR receiver. All buttons have integral RGB LED’s.

  • Evolution Power and Processor Unit

    With a variety of power and circuit configurations and the ability to control mains dimmed, switched, 1-10v, DSI and DMX lighting with RS232 Integration as standard, Evolution gives feature enabled platform from which to develop lighting control system designs. DALI control and Web interfaces are available to extend the system capabilities bringing all lighting and integration formats within the realms of an Evolution System.

  • iPad / Smart Phone interface for Mode Lighting's eDIN control system.

    Users can set lighting levels globally, or by area or by channel. Users can select scenes and even make adjustments to levels using the touch-screen.


  • eDIN Modules

    Each eDIN module incorporates an on-board, display driven, menu system through which circuit functions can be setup without the use of a computer. eDIN is a modular, “building-block” control system designed to bring simple yet sophisticated control to smaller applications. By selecting individual modules the right size of system can be created and assembled onsite by the systems integrator or installer.

  • Tiger Power Units

    Offer simple scene setting lighting control in a standard, compact, quick to install, contractor friendly package which can be configured and programmed on site by the installer or end user without the need for specialist programming tools or training. Available in four different circuit and power configurations, units can be linked together creating flexible lighting controls for restaurants, bars, spas, boardrooms, theatres and offices.
